Photography Using Angles

When composing your picture, pay attention to the weather. If it is overcast outside, try to keep the sky out of your picture as much as possible. Black and white pictures are also a good choice if you want to shoot outside on an overcast day. If the weather is nice and sunny, you will get a lot of great pictures, just make sure your subject isn't squinting at the sun.

Look for patterns in your subject matter, no matter if they happen to be natural or artificial. Patterns add an appealing aspect to a photograph, particularly if they are repeating patterns. You can play off these patterns to get unusual angles or frame your subject relative to the background.

Do not stop taking outdoor shots when the sun begins to set. There are many opportunities to keep going, especially if you have a tripod available to use with your camera. This piece of equipment allows for great low-light shots no matter if the sun is up or not.
